Dave Swartzendruber – Chicago

Dave is a strategic sales and start up executive with over 15 years experience in the technology services field with expertise in full cycle service models. He began his technical career working for Digital Equipment Corp, DEC. Dave’s industry experience includes Telecommunications, High-Tech, Aerospace, Govt’s/Municipals, and Health Care.

Dave excels at B2B sales and marketing strategy to include designing, building and deploying proven sales & marketing processes and methodologies that yield results quickly. He has experience working with many companies to include: AT&T Wireless, Avaya, The Boeing Company, Classmates.com, Clearwire, Dell, Hewlett-Packard, Leapfrog Online, Microsoft, Royal Philips Electronics, Snohomish PUD, Safeco Insurance, Tesoro Petroleum, T-Mobile, TravelCLICK, Washington Mutual, Washington State, Weyerhaeuser

As Partner & CEO, Dave is currently leading CLS Global Solutions, Inc. into key business areas within the technology services field to include Pre/Post Mergers & Acquisitions support services. Dave also continues to develop a network of Private Equity, Investment Banking and Venture Capital relationships to allow his clients investment vehicles to help them grow and compete strategically within their respective marketplaces.

Dave was a Managing Partner with BluWater Consulting, Inc., a leading IT consulting and staffing firm recognized as Puget Sound’s Fastest Growing Private company and also recognized as one of Inc 500’s Fastest Growing Private Companies with a three-year positive sales growth of 1,143.7%. Dave led the sales, marketing and recruiting teams at BluWater Consulting during his tenure and prior to relocating to the Chicago area where he opened a branch office.

Dave founded Strategic Management, Inc., SMI, a successful services business contracted with large technology companies and Health Care organizations located throughout the Pacific Northwest. Dave was also responsible for a project with the Microsoft where he provided consulting services and analyzed their overall contingent staffing expenditures in excess of $180M of contract employment labor resulting in a substantial cost savings for Microsoft. SMI served as the model for Dave to continue to design, build, deploy and lead successful teams and companies.

Dave attended Ferris State University and Bellevue Community College. He is a member of Kiros and volunteers for non-profit aviation organization. He and his wife reside in the Portage, MI area with their daughter. Dave enjoys golfing and is an avid private pilot.
